Visit by Representatives of National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NUBBiH)

Dr Ismet Ovčina, Director of University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bedita Islamović, international cooperation manager, visited International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on January 15, 2018. The aim of this visit was a short meeting with the IUS Rector Dr. T. Erkan Ture and renewal of Contract on Business Cooperation between the IUS and NUBBiH, which a national institution of research, science and culture.

With an aim to ensure quality educational and professional development services, all students and employees of the IUS are able to use NUBBiH services by presenting their IUS IDs. Among these services are full access to the library’s book collection in accordance with the library rules, access to its reading rooms, access to databases for all fields of science, and also the access to databases EBSCOhost, Web of Science and Scopus.

During this meeting the further steps were made towards the cooperation on joint projects, with a goal to improve the cooperation between the two institutions.
